I completed my training at St George’s Hospital Medical School in London in 1996 then chose to relocate to Lincolnshire for my GP vocational training, working at Lincoln County Hospital and a practice near Lincoln.  In 2002 I joined Brant Road Surgery as a partner where I continue to work now.

In 2019 the Clinical Directors of Lincolnshire PCNs formed the Lincolnshire PCN Alliance, of which I am vice-chair.  The PCN Alliance allows South Lincoln Healthcare PCN to come together with other PCNs to support each other, work together on common goals and provide a voice for primary care in Lincolnshire as we move towards an Integrated Care System.

Dr Jago Ridout is a GP Partner in Washingborough Family Practice close to Lincoln. He has worked there as a GP Trainer since 2013 after moving from South West London where he had been a Partner for 7 years. He has established Washingborough as a Training Practice since his arrival.

His wife is also a Doctor and works as a Consultant in Sexual Health and HIV.

He has 3 young boys and the move to Lincolnshire has enabled them to have the space they need.

I am Practice Manager at Bassingham Surgery and have been with the team for 12 years, I absolutely love my role and the variety of Primary Care. I became a Director of SLH in December 2019 and am the HR Lead.

I live with my partner Mark and my unemployable ‘working’ cocker spaniel called Dotty. I have three boys George, Charlie and Will.  I am a keen cyclist and a few years ago I raised a significant amount of money for St Barnabas and Help for Heroes when I rode ‘LeJoG’ - Lands End to John O’Groats in 11 days.

My de-stress is my garden and vegetable patch, I find it fulfilling to grow your own produce and enjoy the spoils of your hard work, I think this should be available on prescription!
